FocusBrand campaign
The business focus
Build brand equity through a global campaign engagement. The marketing task was to connect a recognisable brand idea with communication that could remain coherent across markets, audiences and different campaign expressions.
My leadership
I led the client engagement, connecting the brand’s priorities with the agency’s strategy, creative and delivery capabilities. My focus was a clear brief, a strong working relationship and a shared understanding of the campaign’s purpose.
Strategic direction
The engagement centred on brand-building: what the audience should understand, remember and associate with the brand. That gives campaign decisions a common reference point beyond individual pieces of creative.
International delivery
A global remit brings consistency and local relevance into the same conversation. The challenge is to protect the central brand idea while allowing its expression to work for the audience and market in front of it.
Client partnership
The one-year engagement provided a continuing client relationship around the campaign. I brought the commercial and marketing perspectives together so the agency’s work remained connected to the client’s brand-equity objectives.
Commercial relevance
Brand equity grows through repeated, coherent experiences. The commercial focus was to strengthen recognition and relevance across markets, with client leadership connecting the international ambition to a clear direction for the agency’s work.

Support a global rebrand and worldwide recognition programme. The marketing challenge was to make the brand easier to recognise across its international presence while giving the programme a coherent direction.
My leadership
I led the client engagement around brand and recognition, connecting senior client priorities with the agency team. My role was to keep the relationship, brief and delivery focused on the same brand objective.
Brand consistency
A global rebrand needs more than a new visual expression. Its value depends on people repeatedly encountering a consistent identity and understanding the organisation behind it, across markets and different points of contact.
Programme scope
The scope covered global rebranding and a worldwide recognition programme during a one-year engagement. These elements belonged to the same marketing task: strengthen the clarity and recognisability of the brand.
Stakeholder alignment
International brand work brings multiple expectations into one programme. My client-leadership focus was to connect those expectations to a clear agency brief and keep the broader recognition goal visible in delivery discussions.
Commercial relevance
A recognisable brand helps an organisation present itself with greater consistency and confidence. My client-leadership focus was the connection between the global ambition, the agency programme and the repeated experiences through which people come to know a brand.

The business focus
Support the launch of six brands in Canada, with recurring SEO and PPC campaigns. The challenge was to connect brand introduction with discoverability, giving each launch a route from audience interest to relevant digital content.
My leadership
I led the client relationship across a multi-brand programme, bringing launch priorities and ongoing search activity into the same planning conversation. My role connected the client’s commercial needs with the agency’s specialist delivery.
A portfolio approach
Six brands create a different marketing problem from a single launch. Each needs its own audience relevance and expression, while the wider programme benefits from coordinated priorities and a clear view of where effort is going.
SEO and paid search
The scope combined monthly SEO and PPC activity. Organic search supports discoverability over time; paid search offers a complementary way to reach demand. Together, they connect brand activity with people actively looking for relevant products.
Beyond the launch
The engagement continued over a one-year period, linking the initial introductions to recurring search campaigns. That continuing programme kept the focus on sustained visibility alongside the brand-building work of launch.
Commercial relevance
The programme connected market introduction with discoverability. Brand launches created the audience introduction, while ongoing SEO and PPC provided a complementary route to people looking for relevant products. My role brought those priorities together within one multi-brand relationship.

Redevelop a B2B website with user experience at its centre. The marketing task was to help visitors understand the offer, find the information relevant to them and move towards a useful next step.
My leadership
I led the client engagement across UX and website redevelopment, connecting business priorities with the agency’s design and development capabilities. My focus was to keep the digital experience and the client’s commercial needs aligned.
The experience challenge
A business website has to make a complex offer understandable. Clear structure, relevant content and an intuitive journey help visitors build confidence before they decide whether to enquire or explore further.
Delivery scope
The engagement ran for twelve months and brought UX and website redevelopment into one programme. Treating them as a connected experience linked individual page decisions with the visitor’s wider journey through the website.
Marketing perspective
The website is part of the wider buying journey. Its role is to carry the brand promise into a useful experience, helping potential customers connect what the business offers with the problem they are trying to solve.
Commercial relevance
The commercial focus was the connection between a clearer offer and a useful next step for the visitor. I brought the client objective and specialist agency contribution together around the website’s role in the wider buying journey.

Redevelop the website and improve the visitor experience within a three-month project. The marketing priority was clarity: helping people find relevant information and understand how to move through the digital experience.
My leadership
I led the client engagement around website redevelopment and experience design. My role was to connect the client’s priorities with the agency team and keep the brief focused on what would make the website more useful to visitors.
Trust and usability
For a financial-services brand, the website is an important expression of trust. Content, navigation and presentation need to work together so visitors can understand their options without unnecessary complexity.
Connected delivery
The programme brought the website and user experience together, rather than treating the interface as an isolated design exercise. The purpose was to align the brand’s digital expression with the information needs of its audience.
A defined project window
The three-month scope gave the engagement a clear delivery window. My client-leadership focus was to connect the agreed priorities with the agency’s contribution and maintain a shared view of the experience being developed.
Commercial relevance
A useful website supports the relationship before a customer speaks to the business. My leadership connected clear client priorities and specialist agency input with the practical purpose of the experience: help visitors understand the organisation and find what is relevant to them.

The business focus
Lead a contest-activation engagement for a Canadian retail brand. The marketing task was to turn awareness of a promotion into participation through a digital experience people could understand and use.
My leadership
I led the client relationship around the activation and its supporting user experience. My focus was to connect the promotional objective with the agency’s creative and digital delivery, keeping participation at the centre of the brief.
The participation journey
A contest has to communicate both its appeal and what someone needs to do next. The experience matters at each step: discovering the promotion, understanding the invitation and moving towards entry.
Activation and experience
The scope combined contest activation with user experience over a one-year engagement. That connection matters because a strong promotional idea needs an equally clear experience to turn interest into action.
Brand perspective
The promotion is also a brand interaction. Tone, clarity and ease of participation influence how a customer experiences the retailer, so the digital journey has a role beyond the immediate contest mechanic.
Commercial relevance
The commercial focus was participation within a coherent brand experience. I brought the promotional objective and digital journey into the same brief, connecting the appeal of the activation with the practical steps people needed to take part.

My leadership
I led the client engagement across brand and digital, connecting the business brief with the agency’s strategy, design and development capabilities. My focus was to keep the new expression and the website working towards the same purpose.
Brand and credibility
Insurance communication needs to make the business understandable and credible. Brand expression and content should help audiences recognise who they are dealing with and understand the relevance of the offer.
The website’s role
The UX and website work translated the brand into a practical experience. The aim was to connect what the organisation wanted to communicate with what visitors needed to find and understand.
Delivery scope
The three-month programme combined rebranding and website redevelopment across the U.S. and Canada. That created a shared brief for brand and digital work, with consistency across the relationship as a central consideration.
Commercial relevance
The commercial focus was credibility: connect how the insurance business presents itself with how audiences experience its website. My role was client leadership across that brand-and-digital programme, keeping the business context and visitor needs connected.

My leadership
I led the client engagement across the brand and website programme, bringing the business perspective into conversations with strategy, creative and digital specialists. My focus was a shared direction from the brand brief through to the experience.
A joined-up expression
A rebrand becomes meaningful through the places people encounter it. In this engagement, the website was a key expression of that identity, connecting visual presentation with content, structure and the visitor journey.
UX and clarity
The experience-design focus was to help visitors understand the organisation and find relevant information. For an insurance brand, clarity and consistency are important parts of creating confidence in the relationship.
Delivery scope
The project ran for three months across U.S. and Canadian audiences, combining rebranding, UX and website redevelopment. Brand and digital therefore needed to remain connected within the same delivery programme.
Commercial relevance
The commercial focus was a coherent brand presence in a category where confidence matters. I led the relationship across the brand and digital scope, connecting the client’s intended expression with the purpose of the new website and user experience.

The opportunity
Improve how customer relationships were tracked and managed across the lifecycle. The opportunity was to connect customer information and individual interactions within a more coherent journey, giving the relationship a clearer view beyond a single campaign.
My contribution
I recommended a CRM approach and connected the customer-management need to a commercial agency engagement. My role was to recognise the opportunity, make its relevance clear and develop the client relationship around it.
Lifecycle thinking
CRM gives marketing a view beyond a single campaign or purchase moment. The strategic focus was continuity: how the business understands a customer, recognises their stage in the relationship and makes its next communication relevant.
The marketing rationale
Better relationship tracking creates a foundation for more useful communication and customer understanding. The recommendation connected a practical operational need with the longer-term marketing value of a more coherent customer lifecycle.
Recorded commercial outcome
The recommendation secured CA$500K in ongoing agency business. The commercial result came from connecting the customer-lifecycle challenge with a relevant CRM recommendation and developing a continuing relationship around that opportunity.

The launch challenge
Introduce Hydra-Total 5 through a campaign developed specifically for Canada. The marketing task was to make a new skincare ritual understandable, relevant to different skin needs and visible across the channels consumers encountered.
My leadership
I led the client engagement across the integrated launch, connecting brand priorities with the agency’s strategy, creative and delivery teams. The focus was a coherent campaign across national communication, digital experience and partner content.
The campaign
The launch featured Freida Pinto and national television spots in English and French, supported by magazine and newspaper advertising. The creative introduced the product range while giving the Canadian campaign a recognisable face and message.
The digital experience
A five-question skin-diagnostic quiz helped visitors identify which Hydra-Total 5 line suited their skin type. That created a useful bridge between product awareness and the practical question of which routine was relevant to the individual.
PR and partnerships
PR and influencer activity supported the launch, alongside content partnerships with The Coveteur and Entertainment Tonight Canada. These elements extended the campaign into editorial and beauty contexts where audiences could explore the proposition in more depth.
Commercial relevance
The campaign connected reach with product understanding. Its strength as a marketing programme was the relationship between the advertising, the skincare message and a digital experience that helped women navigate the range.

My leadership
I led the client engagement across website redevelopment and membership activation, connecting the commercial objective with the agency’s digital delivery. My focus was to bring the acquisition goal and the visitor experience into one coherent brief.
The discovery journey
The experience connected responsive website design with location-based service discovery. For a prospective member, finding something relevant nearby is an important step between broad awareness of the organisation and a personal reason to take part.
Membership activation
The programme linked the website with off-season membership activity. The marketing task was to make the next step feel clear and relevant, helping people connect the available services with their own routines, interests and needs.
Connected delivery
Website redevelopment and membership acquisition were parts of the same engagement. That relationship matters because acquisition activity needs somewhere useful to send people, and the digital experience needs a clear understanding of the audience it is serving.

Digital fundraising.A campaign built in three months around virtual and real no-hair selfies.
The campaign challenge
Turn support for people affected by cancer into a simple, visible act of participation. The marketing opportunity was to give people a way to show solidarity, involve their own networks and support cancer research.
My leadership
I led the client engagement around a digital fundraising campaign built in three months. My role connected the campaign ambition with the agency’s digital and creative capabilities, keeping the participation idea central to the programme.
The participation idea
People could take a real no-hair selfie or use a mobile app for a virtual shave. The mechanic made an emotionally significant symbol accessible to a much wider group of supporters and gave them something personal to share.
The digital experience
The programme connected the campaign website, app-led participation, an online gallery and fundraising activity. Each element supported the same journey: take part, make support visible and invite others into the campaign.
Social as participation
The selfie was both the action and the communication. Sharing a recognisable personal image connected the individual’s gesture with a wider movement, giving social activity a clear role within the fundraising idea.
Marketing relevance
The campaign connected an accessible digital mechanic with a meaningful cause. A personal act became a shareable expression of support, with the website and mobile experience giving people practical ways to participate, involve their communities and contribute to fundraising.

Education as the idea
The campaign used hurricane preparedness as its subject. That gave the communication a practical purpose: help people consider their readiness while creating a relevant connection between the audience and the brand.
The experience
Interactive readiness questions and practical information formed the online engagement. The experience connected the campaign message with something people could do, helping move the communication from a general awareness message into an active interaction.
Brand and audience
In a preparedness context, usefulness and tone matter. The marketing rationale was to earn attention through relevant information, with the audience’s situation providing the reason for the brand to engage.
Commercial relevance
The programme connected education, awareness and lead generation within one digital campaign. Its marketing rationale was usefulness: begin with a real audience concern and give the brand a relevant role through practical information and active engagement.

Events and in-store activity gave consumers opportunities to encounter and participate in the campaign. These touchpoints also directed people towards the website, connecting a physical brand interaction with a continuing digital experience.

Category improvements were supported by internal links and editorial content, including denim fit guidance and the history of dungarees. These helped shoppers explore products and answer practical questions.
My leadership context

The wider lesson
A tightly defined category gives strategy a clear commercial focus. The published case shows how search insight, product information and supporting editorial can work together around a specific customer need.

Make the value of heart research feel personal and immediate. The marketing task was to connect scientific progress with the people whose lives it changes, giving existing and potential supporters a clear reason to care.
My leadership
I led the client engagement around the campaign, connecting the charity’s purpose with the agency’s creative and delivery work. My focus was the relationship between the emotional idea, the audience and the communication’s fundraising purpose.
The creative idea
Animated hearts expressed gratitude for the research that helped keep them beating. By giving the hearts a voice, the campaign made an abstract subject human and created a distinctive way to communicate the impact of support.
The storytelling
The film connected individual experiences with the wider role of BHF-funded research. Its emotional strength came from connecting scientific progress with what continued life means to the people affected and those close to them.
Supporter relevance
Thank You recognised the contribution of supporters while reinforcing the continuing need for research. The idea connected appreciation for what had already been made possible with a reason to keep the relationship going.
Marketing relevance
The campaign connected the charity’s purpose with an emotional story and a reason to keep supporting research. I led the client engagement within the agency team, with the film’s craft delivered by its creative and production specialists.
Create a Ramadan idea that connected food-waste awareness with a practical way to support people in need. The opportunity was to make the message tangible within the product and the customer’s ordering experience.
My leadership
I led the client engagement around the campaign, connecting the commercial offer, creative idea and wider activation. The focus was a clear programme linking Pizza2Go, Red Crescent and the campaign’s social purpose.
The product idea
A quarter of the pizza and its box was removed to make the waste-reduction message visible. The packaging became part of the communication, giving the audience a distinctive idea they could immediately understand.
The participation mechanism
The Ramadan offer allocated 25% of the order price to Red Crescent. That connected the brand’s message with an action customers could take through an ordinary purchase, making the charitable element part of the offer itself.
Digital amplification
Published coverage describes food creators sharing unboxing and tasting content, alongside online ordering. The physical product therefore supplied material for digital conversation and a route back to the purchase experience.
Marketing relevance
The product, packaging, charitable contribution and digital story carried the same campaign purpose. That coherence made the idea easy to understand and gave customer participation a direct connection with both the commercial offer and its social message.
Show the usefulness of Google Photos through a human story. The marketing task was to make image search and organisation meaningful by connecting the product with something people already value: their memories and relationships.
My leadership
I led the client engagement around the brand-film work, connecting the product story with the agency’s creative and delivery contribution. The focus was to keep the human experience and the product’s role working together within the communication.
The story
Amit was preparing to regain his sight after almost fifteen years. Google Photos helped him revisit memories he had been part of but had not been able to see, giving the product a relevant role within his personal journey.
The product connection
The story demonstrated image search and organisation through their effect on a person’s experience. The technology supported the narrative, allowing its value to emerge through a specific personal use of the product.
Emotional relevance
Family memories supplied a shared point of connection for the audience. The communication linked a specific individual’s experience with a broader human desire to find, understand and revisit meaningful moments.
Marketing relevance
The communication began with a human need and showed why the product mattered within it. My role connected the client relationship, campaign purpose and agency delivery around a story in which the product’s usefulness was inseparable from the emotional experience.
Biotherm HommeSkincare · Brand campaign
Tough or sophisticated? Be both.
Featuring David Beckham
David Beckham · Biotherm HommeBe Both
The brand challenge
Build a relevant expression of men’s skincare around the Be Both platform. The communication explored different sides of masculinity, connecting grooming with a more rounded understanding of how men see and present themselves.
My leadership
I led the client engagement around the brand campaign, connecting the skincare proposition with the agency’s creative and digital contribution. My focus was the relationship between the ambassador, the brand idea and a coherent audience message.
The ambassador’s role
David Beckham gave the campaign a recognisable figure with multiple public identities. His presence connected the platform with a familiar example of someone who could embody apparently contrasting qualities without being defined by only one.
The creative expression
Contrasting portraits brought the Be Both idea to life alongside the Biotherm Homme range. The creative used those contrasts to connect the brand with confidence and individuality, giving the product story a broader emotional context.
Taking the brand digital
The approach connected the campaign with the brand’s digital expression. The marketing task was consistency: the ambassador, creative idea and skincare message needed to remain recognisable across the audience’s encounters with the work.
Marketing relevance
Brand positioning, ambassador strategy and digital expression worked around a shared idea. My contribution was client and campaign leadership, connecting the agency work with a clear relationship between the skincare proposition, the personality and the audience.
The person behind the work
Hi, I’m Prem.
Client strategy. Agency leadership. Growth. UK, North America & global markets.
I lead client partnerships, develop teams and turn digital strategy into commercial growth.
I’m Prem Nathan, a client services and marketing leader with more than 20 years of global experience in digital marketing and advertising. I start by understanding what a business needs, then bring together the strategy, creativity and people to move it forward.
I’ve built trust and grown business with brands including L’Oréal, Unilever, Rémy Martin and Burger King. My experience spans leading a 30-person team at L’Équipe L’Oréal, developing a global client portfolio at Re:signal and leading marketing at Global Bronze.
Across those roles, my focus is consistent: strong partnerships, clear direction for teams and commercial results that matter to the business.
My proposed leadership framework
How I would lead the next stage.
A practical operating approach for a growing digital agency, connecting client value, people and profitable delivery.
01 / STRATEGY
Start with the business outcome.
I would agree the growth goal, prioritise opportunities and set a roadmap with clear measures, owners and review points.
02 / CLIENTS
Make the partnership worth renewing.
I would connect weekly delivery with quarterly strategy reviews, address risks early and build expansion plans around demonstrated client value.
03 / DELIVERY
Protect quality and profitability.
I would review scope, capacity, utilisation and delivery costs together, making resourcing and change decisions before pressure becomes a margin problem.
04 / PEOPLE
Give leaders room to grow.
I would set clear responsibilities, establish regular coaching and feedback, and connect development plans with the capabilities the agency needs next.
05 / PERFORMANCE
Turn evidence into decisions.
I would connect SEO, paid media, CRM and conversion reporting to revenue, acquisition cost and client priorities, then use the findings to guide investment.
06 / AI & WORKFLOWS
Use AI. Keep judgement.
I would pilot AI for research synthesis, reporting drafts and process documentation, with approved data, source checks, human review and measured quality before scaling.
